Dr. Eric W. Davis
Biography & Timeline
Dr. Eric W. Davis is an astrophysicist and defence contractor specialising in anomalous
physics and advanced propulsion. He is widely cited for his account of legacy crash
retrieval programs, and is the author of the notes of the
2002 meeting with
VAdm Thomas Wilson. His dated employment record is held as atomic
notes under time-based-notes/.
[!note] A sourcing caveat that applies to the whole pre-2000 section Every date before 1996 traces to a single self-authored curriculum vitae reproduced across four separate websites. Four domains carrying one text is a closed loop, not four sources. Treat this section as his own account of his career.
Planetary science, 1983–1995
Davis took a BSc in physics and mathematics at the University of Arizona in 1983, then supported the Infrared Astronomical Satellite group at Steward Observatory and, from 1985, the Voyager Ultraviolet Spectrometer group at the Lunar & Planetary Laboratory through the Uranus and Neptune encounters. Arizona awarded his PhD in astrophysics in 1991 for Diffusion in the Io Plasma Torus. He then taught at Pima College.
Kunsan, 1995–1996
Through the University of Maryland Asian Division he taught at Kunsan Air Base, South Korea, developing Air Force-sponsored space mission engineering and Korean-theatre space reconnaissance training — the earliest defence-facing work in his record.
NIDS and the Wilson meeting, 1996–2002
Davis spent "nearly six years" as a staff researcher at NIDS, the period covering the 16 October 2002 Wilson meeting. In October 2003 he and Jacques Vallée published the Six-Level Model as "consulting members" of NIDS — the one document that places both men in one institution on a fixed date.
EarthTech, AAWSAP and after, 2002–present
From the early 2000s Davis has been attached to EarthTech International and the Institute for Advanced Studies at Austin, rising from physicist to Chief Science Officer (by 2017) to Senior Science Advisor (from about 2020). He contracted to AAWSAP through EarthTech, the same structure as Puthoff and not directly through BAASS, authoring several DIRDs including Traversable Wormholes, Stargates, and Negative Energy.
Several roles run concurrently rather than in sequence: GravWave around 2010–11, and the Aerospace Corporation from 2019 to 2024, during which EarthTech never stopped listing him. He is currently Chief Scientist at Cohere Technology Group.
[!warning] Do not date his UAP Task Force role to 2019 One advisory-board biography places his UAPTF support in a bullet ending 2019, but the UAPTF was not established until August 2020. The end date is unresolved.
