VADM Thomas R. Wilson

Vice Admiral Thomas R. Wilson was Vice Director of Intelligence (J2) for the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the time of an April 1997 Pentagon briefing, which he has confirmed took place. He also appears in the Wilson-Davis notes, a disputed record of a 2002 conversation.

In April 1997 Steven Greer, Edgar Mitchell, Willard Miller and two others briefed Wilson at the Pentagon on alleged hidden UFO programs (April 1997 Pentagon Meeting). In the briefers' telling, he said he would find out about the programs, and weeks later was refused "need-to-know" access when he asked for a briefing. What was said at the meeting rests largely on Greer's account.

The Wilson-Davis notes are astrophysicist Eric W. Davis's record of a conversation he says he had with Wilson on 16 October 2002 (October 16, 2002 Wilson-Davis Meeting). In Davis's account, Wilson told him that special access programs for crashed-UFO reverse engineering exist, that private aerospace contractors dominate them, and that he was refused access to one. Wilson has disputed the account, and the provenance of the Wilson-Davis notes is contested.
