Robert Bigelow
Robert Bigelow directed Bigelow Aerospace, a company that made expandable space-station modules. He is tied to two UAP research efforts. His institute, NIDS, studied the subject from 1995 to 2004, with Hal Puthoff, Jacques Vallee and Eric Davis among its advisers and staff. His company's subsidiary, BAASS, held the Defense Intelligence Agency's AAWSAP contract from 2008 to 2012.
According to the book Hunt for the Skinwalker, NIDS bought Skinwalker Ranch in 1996. Bigelow owned the property during the AAWSAP years and sold it in 2016 to a company later revealed to be Brandon Fugal's.
A disputed account says Lockheed Martin tried to transfer retrieved material to BAASS and a CIA official blocked it; the Pentagon's AARO did not corroborate it, and no agreement, meeting record or clearance file has surfaced (the disputed transfer account). The documented tie between Bigelow Aerospace and Lockheed Martin is commercial: a 2006 agreement to study human-rating the Atlas V rocket.
