Offshore Finance Network (UAP Lore Audit)
Also known as The Overworld Architecture · Breakaway corporate board
Claim-complex alleging the WCC → Bahamas → Resorts/Intertel → Sindona offshore network persists as a UAP-controlling "breakaway corporate board"; a 2026 six-worker ICIJ audit found the finance history real but the UAP layer a post-2021 lore graft.

Offshore Finance Network (UAP Lore Audit)
The Offshore Finance Network claim holds that the mid-century intelligence-finance complex — World Commerce Corporation → Wallace Groves' Bahamas enclave → Resorts International/Intertel → the Michele Sindona/Hambros Bank nexus — survives as a "breakaway corporate board" controlling UAP technology, visibly traceable in the ICIJ Panama Papers. A 2026 nine-worker research session resolved every claimed ICIJ entity against the database's own officer, agent, and address data, audited the historical spine against primary sources, and built dated provenance chains for the UAP-linking claims. The verdict splits in three: the finance history is substantially real; the ICIJ table is mostly name-collision artifact; and the UAP bridge fails provenance at every load-bearing joint.
What is documented
Wallace Groves — Freeport's private sovereign — secretly worked for the CIA from 1965 to 1972 per the Agency's own records: a 1980 CIA staff-minutes reprint of a Wall Street Journal investigation [S1], and an 18 Aug 1976 CIA Office of Security memo quoting his OS file #473865 ("of interest to the Office of General Counsel for the utilization of GROVES as an advisor or possible officer of one of the Project [redacted] entities"), which also records his connection to Meyer Lansky [S2][S3]. The Hawksbill Creek Agreement's terms — 50,000 Crown acres at £1/acre, tax exemptions to 2054 — check out in full against Bahamian statute and the Port Authority's institutional history [S4][S5]. The 1967 Bahamas Royal Commission documented the Lansky-era casino skim mechanism [S6]. Hambros Bank held an archivally documented 24.5% of Banca Privata Finanziaria, matched by Continental Illinois [S7][S8], and Moneyrex's 850-bank network is academically sourced [S8]. On the ICIJ side, Grand Bahama Development Company (Paradise Papers) and Resorts International (Bahamas, inc. 22 Jun 1965, in Stafford Sands' documented June-1965 incorporation wave) are genuine continuations [S9][S12] — Devco today being a CK Hutchison / Port Authority joint venture, the Authority itself owned 50/50 by the Hayward and St George families [S10][S11].
What failed the audit
"WCC LTD" (Seychelles, 2003), "World Commerce Centre" (a Kowloon office building), "Devco Development Corp." (2002), and "Banca Privata Edmond de Rothschild" (a Rothschild Lugano bank, f. 1926) are name collisions [S13][S14]; SG Hambros leak entries are routine private-bank trust business. Allen Welsh Dulles as WCC counsel found no support of any kind; Nelson Rockefeller as WCC investor is explicitly unconfirmed (he is absent from the Panama registration roster); Otto Skorzeny's "leadership role" reduces to business contact of undetermined nature with Ricardo Sicre and Frank Ryan [S15]. The Mary Carter Paint "CIA front" tag is hedged journalism ("widely considered"), and its principal modern promoter has published a partial retraction [S27][S28]. World Commerce Corporation's own end is a documented contradiction — "liquidated in 1962 for tax reasons" versus operating under president William Horrigan in 1972 [S23][S24]. Intertel vanishes from Resorts' SEC filings by FY1993 with no documented wind-down [S25][S26].
The UAP layer is a post-2021 graft
The "Nassau Group" story is chronologically incoherent as circulated — Eldridge Johnson died in 1945, two decades before the mid-1960s Nassau courtship of Thomas Townsend Brown's technology — and biographer Paul Schatzkin reserved his 1933 term, "the Carolines," for the yacht circle (William Stephenson is absent from the 1933 ship's manifests by Schatzkin's own admission) [S16]. Correction (Sept 2026): the phrase "Nassau group" is Schatzkin's own. His 2007 online chapters use it for a 1965–67 Bahamas backer network [S29], so it is not a 2021 coinage. What the dated chain Tim Taylor → Ryan Bledsoe tweet (19 Oct 2021) → Jesse Michels' American Alchemy film (22 Feb 2024) traces is how that term was attached to Taylor's time-travel claim [S16][S17]. Ben Rich's "take ET home" line was a stock joke he told from September 1983 onward, not a deathbed confession [S18][S19], and the "international corporate board of directors" quote does not circulate attached to Rich at all — a full lore-media sweep found it nowhere [S20], making it plausibly an AI conflation with the corporate-control claims of WilsonDavis notes lore. What is documented on the ideology front: religious obstruction of Pentagon UAP work, per Luis Elizondo's named-source account in Imminent (2024) corroborated by Harry Reid [S21][S22] — the defensible kernel inside the Collins Elite story [S16].
