Ben Rich
Director of Lockheed's Skunk Works (1975–1991); posthumously central to UFO lore via recollected quotes — "take ET home" was a documented stock joke from 1983, and the "corporate board" quote does not circulate attached to him.

Ben Rich
Ben Rich directed Lockheed Skunk Works from 1975 to 1991 (F-117, Sea Shadow) and died in January 1995. In UFO lore he is a posthumous confessor, but the quote-provenance audit splits his corpus: "we now have the technology to take ET home" was a stock joke he delivered from a 20 September 1983 Defense Week symposium onward, through the famous 23 March 1993 UCLA alumni talk — all circulating versions descend from witness recollections first published in 2010 [S1][S2]. The "international corporate board of directors" quote attributed to him in the circulating "Overworld Architecture" document does not appear attached to Rich anywhere in lore media — a does-not-circulate finding, plausibly an AI conflation with WilsonDavis notes corporate-control claims [S3]. His only directly documented UFO statement is the 1986 letter to John Andrews: "I'm a believer in both categories" [S2]. See Offshore Finance Network (UAP Lore Audit).
