Tim Taylor

Timothy E. "Tim" Taylor is a former NASA engineer who became a medical-device entrepreneur and venture investor. He keeps turning up beside UFO experiencers: he tested material from Chris Bledsoe, took researcher Diana Pasulka into archives, and visited the building Andrew Basiago names as a teleportation site. Podcasts describe him as a black-ops intelligence operative. His documented career is real but more ordinary than that, and no record shows anyone directing his UFO activity [S1][S2][S3].

The documented career

A 2003 profile in the Birmingham Business Journal covers his NASA years at Kennedy Space Center and later Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville. His last post in the space program was senior project engineer on the International Space Station program at Kennedy. The same profile says that by 2003 he had left for "director of investments-venture capital for Harbert Management Corp" in Birmingham, Alabama. That year he published a memoir, Launch Fever: An Entrepreneur's Journey [S1]. Whether he was a NASA civil servant or a contractor employee is not established in the public record [S4].

He co-founded the Boston surgical-device company Endius, where he was vice president of engineering. He left in 2000 [S5]. Zimmer bought Endius in April 2007 for "approximately $80 million in cash" [S2]. He is a named inventor on Zimmer Spine and Vivex Biomedical patents [S6]. His biography on the Vivex site says he "continues to support Department of Defense launches from Cape Canaveral" [S5]. That comes from his own promotional bio.

What he investigates

Almost everything known about Taylor's UFO activity comes from two people: Chris Bledsoe firsthand, and Grant Cameron secondhand. Other shows retell their accounts without adding new sources [S3][S7].

  • Bledsoe. Taylor tested material on Bledsoe (Taylor-Bledsoe Metamaterial Test) and took him to Thomas Townsend Brown's birthplace (Zanesville Metamaterial Retrieval). He told Bledsoe's son he belonged to a secret time-travel group in the Bahamas, the Nassau Group [S7]. Bledsoe also says Taylor briefed President Obama about him at Camp David (Taylor–Obama Camp David UAP Briefing). Bledsoe is the only source for that.
  • The "Anderson dig". Cameron says that around 2013 Taylor joined an excavation and said of the recovered material, "This is the real deal." The site has not been identified [S3].
  • The Pennsylvania cabin. In 2013 Taylor spent one day at a businessman's cabin, apparently to meet Bledsoe. Cameron was there too (Pennsylvania cabin meeting (Taylor, Bledsoe, Cameron)) [S3]. The owner was a financial backer of Stan Romanek and was one of the people who described receiving the Audrey phone calls [S8].
  • The Basiago building. Taylor showed Cameron photographs of a converted aircraft building and said it was where the "jump room" had been [S9]. Basiago himself places the jump room at 999 N. Sepulveda Blvd, El Segundo [S10]. Cameron concluded that "Tim Taylor went to investigate the Andrew Basiago story" [S9].
  • Pasulka. He appears as "Tyler" in American Cosmic (2019), where he takes Pasulka into the Vatican archives (Vatican Secret Archives Expedition) [S11][S12].

For whom?

No record held by anyone other than Taylor shows an agency, company or funder directing this work. His own account, as Bledsoe relays it, is: "I work for the hammer and the hammer works for God" [S13]. Cameron says Taylor "doesn't tell you anything … here's the breadcrumbs, figure it out" [S9].

Retellings on the American Alchemy podcast have added:

No independent record supports any of these [S4]. Cameron also says Taylor built a biotech firm from a dream and sold it for about $88 million [S9]. That appears to be a garbled version of the Endius sale [S2][S5].

The only record pointing the other way is a claim by a NASA colleague known as "Desmo" to have filed an inspector-general ethics complaint calling Taylor a fraud (NASA OIG Complaint Against Tim Taylor ("Desmo")). The complaint itself has not been found [S14].
