Meyer Lansky

Meyer Lansky was the financial architect of American organized crime's casino operations. His Bahamas footprint is documented at two levels: the 1967 Bahamas Royal Commission of Inquiry found that deported casino men (Ritter, Courtney, Brudner) "leased" high-roller credit files to Bahamas Amusements Ltd. for $2.1M over ten years — a payment the Commission deemed excessive, i.e. a disguised skim channel [S1] — and Wallace Groves' declassified CIA Office of Security file (#473865) itself records that Groves "was connected with Meyer LANSKY" [S2].
