Charles Hambro

Sir Charles Jocelyn Hambro headed Britain's Special Operations Executive during the war, chaired Hambros Bank, and sat in the World Commerce Corporation orbit alongside William Donovan and William Stephenson — making him the direct human edge between the wartime intelligence services and the postwar merchant-banking network [S1][S2]. He died in 1963, before Hambros Bank's 24.5% stake in Banca Privata Finanziaria matured into the Sindona scandals — a chronology worth keeping in mind when the "Hambro–Sindona" link is personalized in lore [S1]. See Offshore Finance Network (UAP Lore Audit).
