Richard Tighe
Richard Tighe is an executive in the nuclear security complex, serving as CEO of Consolidated Nuclear Security (CNS/Y-12). He previously held a management role with Lockheed Martin at the Nevada Test Site for approximately eleven years.
Wilson-Davis Notes — Ruled Out
Researchers working from the Loose Threads document (2023) initially investigated Tighe as a candidate for the "Rich" referenced in the Wilson-Davis notes — two individuals described as "Rich & Doug — NNSA, AFIO members" who arranged Vice Admiral Wilson's Nevada Test Site visit in 2002. Tighe's Nevada nuclear complex background made him a surface-level match. The identification was explicitly ruled out: researchers were unable to connect him to AFIO during the relevant timeframe or verify his Nevada posting coincided with the events in question. The confirmed "Rich" is Richard L. Cohn.
