Black Group

The Black Group is a framework concept attributed primarily to attorney Danny Sheehan, describing an alleged rogue, unacknowledged tier of the U.S. national security apparatus that operates independently of constitutional oversight.

[!warning] Whistleblower Framework This concept originates in whistleblower testimony and advocacy, not in declassified government records. It should be treated as an analytical framework, not established fact.

Definition

In Sheehan's model — corroborated in broad strokes by Michael Herrera and Jake Barber — the Black Group originated in the late 1940s as a secretive program to reverse-engineer non-human technology recovered from crash retrievals. Over subsequent decades it allegedly evolved into what Sheehan characterizes as a "Federal Criminal Racketeering Organization" or "The Syndicate."

It is described not as a neat hierarchy but as a "gangly octopus" — a diffuse network with no single center, spread across both government agencies and private defense contractors. Sheehan also uses the metaphor of a "cancer" embedded within the Blue Group without being subject to its controls.

Alleged Operations

  • Operational sovereignty: The Black Group is alleged to operate globally, ignoring national boundaries and functioning under its own rules
  • Coercive control: Maintains its monopoly on technology through blackmail, bribery, and physical intimidation of potential leakers or government officials who get too close
  • Gatekeeping: High-level administrators within the Directorate of Science and Technology and the National Reconnaissance Office are alleged to function as gatekeepers who block the flow of UAP-related information even to other government branches
  • Technology: Alleged possession of functional, reverse-engineered craft utilizing electrogravitic and scalar propulsion systems; alleged use of EMP weaponry to "bait" and down non-human aerial vehicles in order to refresh stock of recovered technology and biologics
  • Psionic assets: Alleged recruitment and use of individuals with heightened intuitive or psionic capabilities — referred to internally as "P3s," "pink assets," or "human meat" — as biological interfaces for consciousness-operated craft. These individuals are allegedly sourced from vulnerable populations, "sheep-dipped" (erased from official records), microchipped, and treated as biological equipment

Relationship to the Blue Group

The Black Group is presented as embedded within the institutional structures of the Blue Group while remaining operationally invisible to it. Constitutional officials — including Presidents and CIA Directors — are "briefed out" of Black Group programs specifically because they might resist illegal activities. The two layers interact through a "hall of mirrors" that preserves plausible deniability for Blue Group actors.

In Whistleblower Accounts

  • Michael Herrera's 2009 Indonesia encounter is interpreted as a Black Group logistics operation, moving psionic assets via HVAC-equipped containers
  • Jake Barber describes having worked within Black Group recovery teams and confirms the HVAC container methodology
  • Danny Sheehan frames the entire modern disclosure effort as a conflict between constitutional forces attempting to reassert control (via the Blue Group / "the Association") and the Black Group's efforts to maintain its monopoly
  • Whistleblowers like Jake Barber are characterized as "Red Teamers who flipped," turning deception and intelligence tradecraft against their former employers
