Audrey phone calls
The "Audrey" phone calls are a claim Grant Cameron made in September 2026. He described a voice that phoned people around Stan Romanek, called them "star seed" and relayed messages "from the beings". He said there were "over 80" calls. Most recipients, he said, were investigating Romanek, and one was a businessman who planned a book on the calls. That businessman owned the cabin where Cameron met Tim Taylor (Pennsylvania cabin meeting (Taylor, Bledsoe, Cameron)) [S1][S2].
What can be checked
Calls like these were public by 2013, and so earlier than Cameron's claim that "nobody had made it public." The documentary Extraordinary: The Stan Romanek Story shows answering-machine messages in which a woman's voice with a clipped English accent calls Romanek "Starseed" [S3]. The following rest on Cameron alone:
- the name "Audrey," which appears in no earlier source found
- the count of more than 80 calls
- the other recipients
- the book, which has not been announced or published.
No one has published an analysis of the recordings.
Romanek's other evidence has been repeatedly debunked [S4]. A prank, or caller-ID spoofing, has not been ruled out. Spoofing would also explain a recipient's own number appearing as the caller. That point is an inference, not a sourced finding. The story fits an older pattern of unexplained voices on the phone: the Mothman-era calls to John Keel, some of which were later traced to a hoaxer [S5].
