Jim Semivan

Jim Semivan is a retired CIA officer and a co-founder of To The Stars Academy of Arts & Sciences (TTSA). He served 25 years in the CIA's National Clandestine Service, retiring in 2007 as a member of the Senior Intelligence Service, and holds the Agency's Career Intelligence Medal [S1]. He has been TTSA's Vice President of Operations [S2], and was one of the five people who started it in 2017 alongside Tom DeLonge, Chris Mellon, Luis Elizondo and Hal Puthoff.

Books and media

With Tom DeLonge, A. J. Hartley and Peter Levenda he wrote Sekret Machines: Chasing Shadows (2017), which mixes fiction with factual material about UAP [S3]. He has appeared in the documentary series Unidentified: Inside America's UFO Investigation and on many podcasts.

Experiences and research

Semivan has described an anomalous encounter in 1990 [S4]. He has said that John Alexander later visited his home, interviewed him and collected his materials and videos, which Semivan says went to a DARPA laboratory (Alexander Experiencer Data Collection Operations). He has also said he takes part in confidential studies of people who report encounters (Experiencer Study). Those studies are not public, and none of this has been independently verified.
