UAP / Disclosure Connections
In 2016, WikiLeaks published hacked Podesta emails including a message from Tom DeLonge to John Podesta titled "General McCasland." DeLonge described McCasland as someone who called himself a "skeptic" but "is not," having received a four-hour briefing on DeLonge's disclosure project and being "very, very aware" of relevant programs. Wright Patterson AFB (his command) has longstanding associations in public record with Roswell debris storage and Project Blue Book-era materials.
McCasland disappeared six days after President Trump announced on Truth Social he was directing the Pentagon and federal agencies to release UAP/UFO records (February 21, 2026).
Disappearance
Disappeared February 27, 2026 from his home in Albuquerque, NM within a ~60-minute window while his wife was at a doctor's appointment. Left behind his phone, prescription glasses, and wearable devices. Took his wallet, a .38-caliber revolver, leather holster, red backpack, and hiking boots (later found at his Pagosa Springs second home ~200 miles away). Had reported an unspecified "medical issue" and "mental fog" in the period prior. FBI Albuquerque Field Office confirmed involvement; Kirtland AFB coordinating. Silver Alert issued March 1, 2026. Status: missing.
