Skinwalker Ranch briefing to Senate committee staff (2018, disputed)

By Brandon Fugal's account, on 19 April 2018 his team "from Skinwalker Ranch was asked to provide a confidential briefing in Washington D.C. to the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence & United States Armed Services Committee," and Sean Kirkpatrick "was at the head of the table" for about two and a half hours [S1][S2]. Fugal posted a photograph of the meeting on 9 May 2024. At the time, Kirkpatrick was Director of National Security Strategy at the National Security Council [S3].

The dispute. Fugal says Kirkpatrick had publicly denied meeting him, attending any Skinwalker Ranch briefing, or having any interest in the subject before 2022 [S2]. Kirkpatrick's response was relayed the same day by the New York Post's Steven Greenstreet. He said he did attend a briefing, with Hal Puthoff and Kit Green present, but did not remember "Skinwalker Ranch" being mentioned, did not "recall ever meeting Fugal," and thought it was in 2017 [S4]. The date on this note is Fugal's. Both sides agree Kirkpatrick attended; they disagree on the year and the subject. No third attendee's account has been found. Part of The New Blue Book.
