Dick Cheney

Dick Cheney was Secretary of Defense under George H. W. Bush and Vice President under George W. Bush. He matters to this graph because of one witness, David Grusch, and because of how that witness's words have been retold.

What Grusch said

On the Megyn Kelly Show in January 2026, Grusch said of Cheney: "when he left in 2009, that was the last time that these activities really had central leadership" [S1]. (This wording is taken from several identical secondary transcriptions of the broadcast. The fetchable primary transcript ends before this segment.) In August 2026 he described Cheney, without naming him, as "Darth Vader": a former cabinet member had told him they worked "the issue" for a particular former vice president. He also said Cheney oversaw a "detainment situation" [S2]. The journalist Walter Kirn separately reports that Grusch, asked privately who "sits at the top of the pyramid", answered "Dick Cheney". That account is Kirn's, not a recorded Grusch statement [S3].

What others built on it

YouTube researcher UAP Gerb turned these remarks into a larger scheme. Cheney becomes the "last mob boss" of the programs, followed by a post-2009 "flat hierarchy" in which James Clapper was the "closest" successor. That vocabulary is Gerb's, not Grusch's [S4]. No document supports any of these claims. They are the testimony of one witness and commentary on that testimony.
