Christopher C. Miller

Christopher C. Miller was acting Secretary of Defense from 9 November 2020 to 20 January 2021, after about three months as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center [S1][S2]. He belongs in this graph for one sentence. In The Age of Disclosure (2025) he says: "Some intelligence official decided I, the Acting Secretary of Defense, did not have a need to know about the UAP topic" [S3]. That puts him with Thomas Wilson and Harry Reid as senior officials who say they were refused access. See The Committee Gate.

Career

He enlisted in the Army in 1983 and served as a Special Forces officer until 2014, including command of a special operations task force in Iraq (2006–07) [S1]. He then held Pentagon special-operations posts (2010–11) and worked as a defense contractor (2014–17). From 2018 he held National Security Council and Pentagon counterterrorism roles, before NCTC and then the acting secretaryship [S1][S2].

After office

As of May 2026 his official bio lists board seats at Draganfly, Albers Aerospace, Onebrief and Evolution Metals and Technologies. It also lists an advisory role with Fulcrum Venture Group and his founding of Boundary Channel Partners and the counter-drone firm FPF-Defense [S4][S5]. Most of these are drone, counter-drone and defense-software businesses. His current operating role is founder and CEO of FPF-Defense, whose $10M seed round was co-led by RSE Ventures and Ondas [S6]. A review of the investor lists and SEC filings of all nine of his companies found no fund tied to Peter Thiel (research report) [S7]. One Onebrief investor is In-Q-Tel, the CIA's venture arm, among roughly a dozen funds; that is a co-investment, not a tie to Miller [S8].
