Grusch on Joe Rogan Experience #2065 (2023)

On 21 November 2023 David Grusch told Joe Rogan: "Harry Reid said this, we knew that Lockheed Martin had this material for decades. I tried to get access and I was denied." He added that "Lockheed Martin wanted to divest itself from this material" and that "the 21 or 22 million dollars was actually for Bigelow Aerospace to build out facilities in Las Vegas" [S1][S2]. He said he had cleared this with DoD's prepublication review office.

Reading it

The first sentences closely paraphrase Harry Reid's published 2021 remark, so here Grusch is relaying Reid's public words (2009 AAWSAP SAP Request Denial). The divestment and facilities claims come with no stated source. AAWSAP's first-year contract lines contain no facility construction. Grusch did not name Lockheed in his sworn testimony at the July 2023 hearing [S3]. See the research report.
