OSS

The Office of Strategic Services was the United States' wartime intelligence agency, founded in 1942 under William Donovan and dissolved in September 1945. It is the institutional forerunner of the CIA.

OSS alumni recur in this graph mainly through post-war commercial fronts: Donovan became a director of the World Commerce Corporation in 1947, whose board was staffed heavily by former OSS and British Security Coordination officers.
