Thomas L. Phillips

Thomas L. "Tom" Phillips was the longtime chief executive of Raytheon. He was among the donors who funded The Fellowship (The Family)'s 1978 purchase of its Arlington headquarters, The Cedars [S1]. His involvement is a concrete instance of the Fellowship's documented "strong ties with businessmen in the oil and aerospace industries," connecting the group to the defense-contractor world this vault tracks. (Not to be confused with Tim Phillips, a former AARO deputy director.)
