The Cedars

The Cedars is a mansion in Arlington, Virginia that serves as the operational headquarters of The Fellowship (The Family), home to its inner "Core Group" and finances [S1]. It was purchased in 1978 for roughly $1.5 million with donations that included Raytheon CEO Thomas L. Phillips and Digital Equipment's Ken Olsen [S2]. The Fellowship has used the estate to host discreet meetings between foreign leaders — including a secret 2001–2002 encounter between the DR Congo and Rwandan presidents [S3].
