In-Q-Tel
In-Q-Tel is the CIA's nonprofit venture capital firm, established during the tenure of DDS&T Joanne Isham and described as the "skunkworks" of the intelligence community. It invests in early-stage technology companies developing capabilities relevant to the IC. The NobleReach Foundation was later formed when Emerge was spun out from In-Q-Tel; Glenn Gaffney, former Director of Science and Technology at the CIA, serves as Chief Strategy Officer there.
