Prichard Murder-Suicide (2025)

On October 25, 2025, Jacob Prichard — an Acquisition Project Manager in the AFRL Sensors Directorate at Wright-Patterson AFB — killed his AFRL colleague Jaime Gustitus and his wife Jaymee Prichard (33) in a double murder-suicide spanning Greene, Montgomery, and Miami Counties, Ohio.

Sequence of events:

1. ~2:00 a.m.: Prichard forced entry into Gustitus's condo (Sugarcreek Township, Greene County); shot and killed her. Neighbor called 911.
2. Prichard fled; killed Jaymee Prichard at an unknown location; placed her body in a car trunk.
3. ~4:23–4:30 a.m.: Prichard arrived at West Milton Municipal Building parking lot (Miami County); deliberately opened the trunk to expose Jaymee's body; fatally shot himself on camera.
4. ~5:08 a.m.: West Milton Police discovered both bodies.

Investigation: Miami County Sheriff, West Milton PD, Huber Heights PD, Sugarcreek Township PD, Ohio BCI, Wright-Patterson OSI, AFAF OSI. Motive was never publicly established. Both Prichard and Gustitus held TS/SCI clearances; any precipitating factors may be classified.
