Steinman Telephones Eric Walker
On 30 August 1987 researcher William Steinman telephoned Eric Walker. Steinman had concluded that Walker was the unnamed figure behind Robert Sarbacher's recollections of UFO meetings [S1].
Steinman states that Walker acknowledged attending meetings at Wright-Patterson about recovered discs and bodies. Steinman also says Walker had known of MJ-12 since 1947 and told Steinman to leave the subject alone. Steinman described his record of the call as "word for word," but that record has not been located. It survives only as quoted in a later account by Stan Crain and Grant Cameron [S1]. Skeptic Kevin Randle rejects the "since 1947" line and suggests Walker was echoing the MJ-12 documents published in 1984 [S2].
The call is the main source for the claim that Walker attended crash-retrieval meetings. What it records is Steinman's account, not Walker's own words.
