Robert Millikan

Robert Millikan was the Nobel Prize-winning American physicist and Caltech leader who, according to biographical accounts, personally dismissed the early antigravity ideas of Thomas Townsend Brown as "impossible" when Brown demonstrated them at Millikan's Pasadena home lab in the 1920s. His rejection is one of the earliest documented mainstream-science responses to Brown's electrogravitics claims. [S1]
