Katechismus der Uranidem (1966)

Katechismus der Uranidem (Wiesbaden-Schierstein: Ventla-Verlag, 1966) is a book by Hermann Oberth documenting his later, esoteric turn. Per the abstract in a 1968 U.S. government (DTIC) annotated bibliography, the book describes communication with an extraterrestrial being (a "Uranide") through a psychic medium, and reflects metaphysical views Oberth adopted as a result [S1]. It is the closest verifiable evidence of Oberth's own contactee-adjacent beliefs — distinct from the many quotes misattributed to him — and is cited here as a primary artifact of his late-life views.
